Join us for a night of authentic Peruvian food to benefit the people of La Roca, Peru! The Salisbury Christian School Class of 2017 will be traveling to Peru in May 2017 to serve the underprivileged there. While the class has raised sufficient funding for this mission trip, they want to go above and beyond to meet a need of the La Roca community - the purchase of a portable ultrasound machine. This portable machine will benefit the LaRoca Prenatal Clinic that is run by volunteer doctors, enabling them to serve as a resource for expectant mothers who cannot travel to the clinic.
In order to raise the funding necessary for the purchase of this machine, the SCS Class of 2017 is hosting a silent auction and dinner on May 13, from 6:00 - 8:00pm, to which all of the Eastern Shore is invited! The event - hosted at the Christian Community Center at 408 Gordy Road, Salisbury, Maryland - will feature an authentic Peruvian dinner, live entertainment from the SCS student worship team, and dozens of auction items on which to bid. Tickets cost $15 and should preferably be purchased online by May 9. We look forward to supporting the people of Peru with you!
